In today's blog, we'll see how we can make healthy, economical dry nut butter.
Initially, the most common nuts we used to make butter are white peanuts, hazelnut, cashews and almond. Except, perhaps, the white peanuts, the other nuts, due to their cost, make their butter too expensive. That is why we can do it ourselves. Typically, we will use 250g of the fruit of our choice and heat it either in microwaves at moderate temperature or in a preheated oven for 3 to 5 minutes. Then transfer to a blender and add 1 tablespoon of sunflower or peanut oil and a little salt (optional) for one minute until the nuts have been dissolved. Then we control the mixture and if necessary add some sunflower oil (or peanut oil). Typically, cashews need 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil because it is a nut that makes flour easily and therefore the mixture will not become so watery. We finish hitting for another 5 minutes with some short breaks, of course, because we do not want to spoil the blender. Once finished, add the mixture to a jar and keep it in a cool, shady place like all nuts. Enjoy!!!
